1. Agreement
1.1 The Customer engages Structured Electrical to provide the Priority Plan services selected in the Plan Selection section of this agreement.
1.2 This agreement begins on the date it is signed or otherwise accepted by the Customer and continues for 12 months, unless ended earlier in accordance with this agreement.
1.3 The Customer may renew the selected plan for a further 12-month period by accepting a renewal offer or paying a renewal invoice issued by Structured Electrical.
2. Plan Selection
The Customer selects the following plan:

3. Plan Inclusions
3.1 Basic – Safety Plan
The Basic Plan includes:
a. one annual electrical safety inspection;
b. priority booking ahead of non-plan customers, subject to availability;
c. a 10% discount on call-out work performed during the plan term; and
d. a safety checklist report following the annual inspection.
3.2 Standard – Home Care Plan
The Standard Plan includes everything in the Basic Plan, plus:
a. a follow up electrical safety inspection during the plan term;
b. no call-out fee on third visit (first hour labour will be charged) with labour, parts and materials charged separately unless otherwise stated;
c. smoke alarm testing and certification, where applicable; and
d. access to a dedicated contact number for service requests.
3.3 Premium – Total Peace of Mind Plan
The Premium Plan includes everything in the Standard Plan, plus:
a. three additional electrical safety inspections during the plan term (quarterly inspections);
b. minor repairs during scheduled or requested attendances, limited to up to 1 hour of labour per visit;
c. 24/7 emergency priority response, meaning Structured Electrical will use reasonable efforts to prioritise the Customer’s emergency request ahead of non-plan customers, subject to technician availability and circumstances at the time;
d. one annual switchboard health check; and
e. discounted EV charger installation or solar consultation services, with the applicable discount to be confirmed at the time of quotation.
4. Exclusions and Additional Work
4.1 Unless expressly included in the selected plan, the plan fee does not include:
a. parts, materials, replacement products or consumables;
b. major repairs, upgrades, installations or rectification works;
c. work required to address faults, defects or non-compliance identified during an inspection;
d. work outside normal electrical contracting services provided by Structured Electrical; or
e. any permit, certification, authority or third-party costs.
4.2 Structured Electrical will advise the Customer if additional work is recommended or required. Additional work will only be performed with the Customer’s approval and will be charged separately at Structured Electrical’s applicable rates or as quoted.
4.3 For the Premium Plan, “minor repairs” means simple, low-complexity repair work capable of being completed within the included 1 hour labour allowance. It does not include parts or materials, major fault-finding, switchboard upgrades, rewiring, installations or other substantial works.
5. Fees and Payment
5.1 The Customer must pay the annual plan fee in advance, unless Structured Electrical agrees otherwise in writing.
5.2 All fees are inclusive of GST..
5.3 Any additional work, labour, parts, materials or expenses outside the selected plan will be invoiced separately and must be paid within 10 business days of invoice.
5.4 If an invoice is not paid by the due date, Structured Electrical may suspend the Customer’s plan benefits until payment is made.
6. Scheduling and Access
6.1 The Customer must provide reasonable access to the premises at the agreed appointment time.
6.2 If the Customer cancels or reschedules an appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, Structured Electrical may charge a reasonable cancellation or rebooking fee.
6.3 Priority booking and emergency priority response do not guarantee attendance within a particular timeframe unless Structured Electrical separately confirms a specific attendance time in writing.
7. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer must:
a. provide accurate information relevant to the services;
b. ensure the premises are safe and accessible for Structured Electrical’s personnel;
c. notify Structured Electrical of any known hazards or access issues; and
d. not request work that would require Structured Electrical to act unlawfully or unsafely.
8. Termination
8.1 Either party may terminate this agreement by written notice if the other party materially breaches this agreement and does not remedy the breach within 10 business days after receiving notice.
8.2 The Customer may cancel the plan at any time by giving 30 days’ written notice. Unless required by law, plan fees already paid are not refundable.
8.3 Structured Electrical may end the agreement on 30 days’ written notice. If Structured Electrical does so other than due to the Customer’s breach, it will refund the unused portion of the annual plan fee on a pro rata basis.
8.4 Termination does not affect any rights or payment obligations accrued before termination.
9. Liability
9.1 Structured Electrical will perform the services with due care and skill and in accordance with applicable Australian law.
9.2 Nothing in this agreement excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
9.3 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Structured Electrical is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity or loss arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
9.4 Where liability cannot be excluded but may be limited, Structured Electrical’s liability is limited, at its option, to:
a. re-supplying the relevant service;
b. paying the cost of having the relevant service re-supplied; or
c. refunding the amount paid for the relevant service.
10. Privacy
Structured Electrical may collect and use the Customer’s personal information for the purpose of administering this agreement, providing services, issuing invoices and communicating with the Customer.
11. General
11.1 This agreement records the entire agreement between the parties about the selected priority plan.
11.2 Any variation to this agreement must be agreed in writing.
11.3 This agreement is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the parties submit to the courts of Victoria.
11.4 This agreement may be signed electronically.
Schedule 1 | Standard duties and obligations
The Company will, in providing the Services:
- (Honesty and diligence) be honest and diligent and provide the Services to it to the best of its knowledge and abilities;
- (Standards) at all times maintain reasonable ethical, professional and technical standards;
- (Discrimination and harassment) not unlawfully discriminate against, sexually harass or otherwise physically or verbally abuse any person; and
- (Privacy) in relation to any Personal Information of any customer, client, supplier or Representative of the Client, any user or prospective user or any other person, comply with:
- (a) the Privacy Act and any guidelines, information sheets and other relevant material issued from time to time by the Commonwealth Privacy Commissioner; and
- (b) any approved privacy policy and procedures adopted from time to time by the Client.
